Want something on your wall other than a t.v? Ever consider buying art? Art is seen as a luxury item to most. Smart people know that art is a worthy investment. Buying art as simple as just shopping for something that fits your taste. It doesn’t have to be an expensive piece to be worth getting.
Collecting art isn’t difficult. You don’t need a degree or a mastery in the arts. You could hand pick what artist you want to support. You don’t have to, but buying art is as simply as expressing your own taste. When buying art, you don’t automatically have to buy a piece that is guaranteed to make you a profit. There is no guarantee that any art will turn a profit. The best thing you can do to get the most out of a purchase of art is buy art you like. Buy art that speaks to you is what starts the appreciation of value.

Art overtime will pay for itself by the presents it holds over your household. If you buy works of art you can resonate with, you can confidently hang in your art in your home. That’s when the art starts to pay for it’s self when you see the work and can appreciate it. Some key elements about the piece can have an effect on your psyche. The benefits of having your own piece of art that you have invested in, that you can hold touch and feel. The work can be motivational or calming. Either way, it’s your very own art that you bought, and you can claim ownership of.
When years have passed and your collection has grown, You can resale your purchased artwork. Art has a serious return of investment. Where you can sell your pieces for an inflated price. Depending on the artist and their art career, you might stand to make a huge profit. Don’t collect art just for the possible return of investment. Not all art is created the same, and not art all sells the same. The possibility is there, but it shouldn’t be the sole motivation to buy art.
My aunt-in-law has no culture. She is a well-known copy-write editor. She bought a slew of overpriced art for her stolen condo. I don’t know how much her art was worth, but it was god awe-full. They crap she had in her house that she called art may or may not have been worth much. But it was hideous, I didn’t enjoy it and neither did she. She bought the works solely in hopes of flipping a profit. The center piece of her works was the bigger flop. The artist only made a few pieces and then left the art-world. Leaving no growth in his career. No growth meant no more interest in their art. No more interest in their art meant no more returns. That crap in her living room is worthless.

Me, I got some art from Dollar Tree that I love. I look at it every day and night. They are small, cute pieces. They make me feel calm and inspired. I must have paid all of $10 for art in my bedroom. They serve their purpose that they have beautified my room. They keep me going. I keep my purchased works in great condition. I have people asked where I got my work. I am confident that I can resell my minor art estate for a triple for what i paid. Because the art I got is specific to my taste, I am sure i can find a likely minded individual who would pay me a good asking price
So my friend, go out and shop for some art. Why not? Look for something that speaks to you. Something that reflects who you are. Art is cool, go shopping online or in store. Get something that makes you feel how you want to feel. Good luck and happy shopping.
