People think it’s funny to find ways to get under your skin. They try their best to insight some sort of ninja moment where you go into full on murder mode. These thrill seekers use rage bait to ruin your life. They want you so pissed off that you ruin your whole life over doing things to make you mad. This is called rage bait and it’s a real thing from ghetto to ghetto.

Rage bait is a fairly new tactic to insight violence in whoever is their intended target. Their plan is to do enough petty bullshit to take you over the top. They laugh at you the whole time and hope you pay for your one-way ticket to jail. They work your nerve way pass the end of your limit just because they are haters and they want your demise. There is a classic case in Brooklyn where a small family would blast their music, have their video games so loud it shakes the walls, and talk so much smack that it finally took their neighbor over the edge. He eventually murdered the whole family with a 9mm handgun.

Most cases of rage bait don’t end in murder but they do end in incarceration. That’s the sole intention of rage bait. The plan is at least to start a fight. They know the intended target will get angry over their bullshit and would want to settle a score. The worst part is they think it’s funny and revel in your anger. There is something you can do to combat rage bait.

When dealing with rage bait the best thing you can do is not feed into it. Don’t give them what they want. Don’t even acknowledge them. Laugh at their petty attempts to enrage you and walk with your head held high. Like most kinds of baiting tactics if you ignore it it will go away. They thrive off of your annoyance and if you don’t let it bother you then they won’t have anything to feed off of. In fact most of the time people who decide to use rage bait end up burning their own house down. The thing they do to piss you off also is damage themselves. Blasting loud music to get at somebody doesn’t just piss off the target but everyone else who is forced to listen to their garbage as music. Smoking crack because it stinks inevitably will turn them into a crackhead begging you for a dollar some years later. So don’t pay them too much mind, they’re doing their own selves in.

I have dealt with rage bait a lot since I’ve been married. My family and in-laws hated my union. They spread media campaigns on the net to bait me to fight for the honor of my wife. Instead of fighting I decided to enjoy the time spent with even more. We are still married and the munchers are still munching. Don’t fall for rage bait like you wouldn’t fall for any kind of other bait. Remember to swerve and curve the munchers.
