I really love being a dad, it’s super awesome. It’s a great feeling being some kids dad. Like, Wow I didn’t know what a rewarding feeling felt like until I had a kid. I am glad I am a father and would recommend parenthood to any guy who’s interested.

Waking up in the morning used to be a simple thing before having my kid. I would wake up. have smoke and a coffee and hit the streets without a care in the world. My morning changed once I had my kid, honestly my whole life changed.

Now a days I wake to send my kid off to school. They have to go to school, so getting them dressed, feed and out the door is my new morning routine. It may be busy but it’s worth it.

Watching them grow and grow and grow. It’s like a kid never stops growing. It’s an awesome feeling being their for every moment of their life. From their first steps to their first day of school. It a truly rewarding experience.

When you have a child you’ll realize life isn’t revolving around you anymore, it’s revolving around your kid. Your children are now the center of attention. You become the creator and they are your masterpiece.

You may dread the idea of trading club night for movie night or the disco for play dough; but it’s worth it. They are you, and when you see the child, you see the father. Not everything your kids are going to get is going to be from their mother. Some things only a man can teach them.

When your a dad, your not just a dad. Your a super hero, a doctor, your everything to your offspring. You are a protector and a friend that an awesome feeling if I do say so myself. I wouldn’t trade being a dad for the world.

The best way to express the feeling I get from being a father is a feeling of being loved. I know my kid loves me, I know my child’s mother loves me. All of that love reaffirms the love I have for myself.

They don’t really say how much they love me often. I guess they don’t want me to get big headed. But, they make sure they show it. Hugs and kisses are great. Getting serve first, well because your the man of the house. Just the little things that they do to show they care make it super awesome to be a dad.

Being a dad isn’t for everyone. If you don’t feel like your ready to be a dad then please don’t. Parenting is a lot of responsibility and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Being a dad is greatest when you plan for it.

I will always be glad I had my child. I love my kid and I know my kid loves me. It’s a truly selfless endeavor. The feels that you will encounter will follow you from this life to the next. Bringing your a sense of purpose that some where out there, their is someone who calls you dad.
