We all have something that we do to reward ourselves. Those things often are bad habits. The things we do as adults aren’t so good for us.
I enjoy celebrating special occasions with some sort of vice. Whether it’s smoking and/or drinking. I have been known to gamble in my youth.

These were things that I did was a reward and I did to reward myself greatly. I would often spend time indulging in substances when things were going good.
Some people aren’t like me. I know plenty of people who eat candy as a reward system. They enjoy a chocolate bar or a slice of cake.

Those are good rewards but can also be a bad habit. There are problems with any and everything if you overdo it. Whether it’s getting high or getting diabetes; too much is bad.
You can suffer for overindulging in anything that could be deemed a reward. If you reward yourself for little or no reason you might have an issue. If you find yourself getting high not to reward yourself but to cope you might have a problem.

Indulging in vice should be limited to special occasions. Recreational indulgence is cool but should done in moderation. Beware of overindulgence, which can lead to serious health problems.
Taking care of your health is the biggest concern with bad habits. Getting high all the time can lead to a damaged respiratory system. Eating sweets can lead to poor dental health and diabetes.

Try to limit your indulgences for your health. Bad habits are nice but if you overdo them you might die. Self-care is all about taking care of your health. Treats are all good, but think about your health.
