The most notorious gang in the Bronx is the Alley Cat Gang, otherwise known as A.C.G. They are one of the worst gangs in all of New York City.

Crimes committed by the A.C.G. range from burglary, assassinations, extortion and robbery. They have members in every gang because anybody can be A.C.G. For anyone who doesn’t know, the members of the A.C.G. hold felines in the highest regard.

A.C.G. formed in the late 80s when Johnny (Kool Kat) Watson was released from prison and moved to New York from Chicago. Kool Kat started the gang in Morrisania section of the Bronx.

The founding member’s philosophy believed that felines should be at the center of the gang ideology. Kool Kat taught and stressed to his members, the ancient Egyptian belief that all cats were scared and that cat worship would bring victory in any wars that the A.C.G must engage in within the city.

The most famous victim of the A.C.G was an unfortunate individual by the name of Thomas Green.

According to sources, Green was a transplant from Ohio that moved to the Bronx in the summer of 2012. He rented a small apartment in Morrisania and worked for an advertising firm in Manhattan.

Unfortunately, despite moving to NYC, this transplant especially hated cats. Green was an avid dog lover and often expressed his hatred for cats.

He would regularly post anti-cat memes saying that these creatures were evil and Satan’s favorite pet. According to an online manifesto posted by Green, his hatred for furry felines stemmed from his distorted Christian values.

When Green first moved to Bronx, he stepped in some dog poop. Strangely enough, the transplant posted a picture on social media with the caption “Found my new home in the Bronx #doglife.”

Green felt that with all of the dog feces around that the Bronx was a very dog friendly borough. Little did he know, the notorious A.C.G didn’t mind dogs but cat worship ruled in the Bronx.

What made the A.C.G target Green? There was an incident one afternoon on September 13th, 2012.

Green was walking home from work one evening, when a stray cat happened to cross his path. The feline was very friendly and meowed at Green sweetly, rubbing against Green’s legs with a soft purr.

Instead of feeling warmed by the cat’s interaction, Green turned and kicked the cat so viciously that he killed the animal. To add insult to injury, he brushed off his legs and walked away from the lifeless creature’s body like it was nothing.

Onlookers were mortified by what they had seen. Residents soon began whispering among themselves and made sure to keep an eye on Green. It wasn’t long before things started to change for Green.

Later that evening as Green was getting ready to go to sleep, someone in his apartment building started blasting Doja Cat’s music non stop. Feeling aggravated by the loud music going on for hours, he called the police to complain.

At 2am the police showed up at Greens apartment. The offending resident was given a warning about the level of noise, and that was that. There was no more music for the rest of the night.

However, when Green stepped out of his apartment the following morning to go to work, there was a dead, bloated rat in front of the door.

During his usual commute, he was met with hisses from passerby in the community. Random strangers would hiss at him, much like a cat would when they are angry.

Green noted the local hate. He fueled the escalating aggressive gestures on social media, saying, “Crazy people hiss like they are cats. They must be high on nip! F***ing drug addicts.”

For the rest of the day at his job in Manhattan everything seemed normal. Gren had a relatively uneventful day at work. When it was time to clock out he headed back to his home in the Bronx.

As he left the Subway system he was feeling a little nervous about returning to his apartment. So, Green decided to take a alternate route back to his building.

While walking home a voice yelled out “CAT KILLER!” Green was shocked.

He couldn’t understand that the reason he was experiencing such horrible treatment was because of the cat he killed the day prior. He decided not to regret what happened to the cat. Instead, he chose to go to war with the A.C.G.

Once inside his apartment, Green planned on going on social media to expose the obsessed and crazy cat lovers of the Bronx. While he was formulating memes to bash cat lovers of the Bronx he noticed a strong smell. The acrid odor was emanating from an unknown location in his apartment.

Our records showed that Green made a call to the property management company. He made multiple complaints about the persistent smell of cat urine throughout his apartment. Reports showed that the property management told Green that they were not at fault. And, that Green should clean his apartment.

Furious over the continuing and mounting social abuse he was receiving from the A.C.G, Green stormed the hallways of his apartment building loudly screaming anti-feline sentiment.

It didn’t take long for the authorities to show. The police were called to respond to reports of a “crazy man screaming in the hall.”

When the police got to Green’s apartment building they noticed that he seemed to be mentally unwell. EMS was called and Green was whisked away to North General Mental Hospital for a mental evaluation.

Green was aggressive and had to be sedated for his own safety. When he arrived at North General he seemed erratic.

Green continued to yell for hours about cats stealing people’s soul in the Bronx. He also claimed that he had a big presentation to show up for at work tomorrow. It was critical that he be released as soon as possible so he wouldn’t miss work.

While in the middle of his tirade, Green’s words began to enrage a little known gang member in the hospital. Sadly, Green was attacked by the gang member, suffering multiple injures. Green had to be placed under intensive watch as a result and was not allowed to return home immediately.

Eventually, when Green was released from the hospital, he returned to his apartment in Morrisania. Sources say that Green lost his position at his advertising firm.

Weeks after losing his job Green stayed locked away from the world, huddled inside his apartment. He avoided social media and didn’t open the window blinds, leaving his apartment bathed in darkness.

Following a wellness check from a hospital appointed nurse Green appeared ungroomed and mentally disheveled. He was reported to have been repeating an unsettling mantra. ” Cat’s are the devil.” Green reportedly whispered quickly under his breath.

The visiting nurse reported that other then Green’s poor physical appearance and strange utterances, the man seemed well enough that he didn’t need further services.

One early morning Green finally ventured out of his apartment. He had high hopes of panhandling to get enough money for breakfast.

As Green was begging for money a member of A.C.G approached and pulled out a hunting knife. Green was stabbed 99 times in the torso before crumbling to the concrete.

He died in front of a local convenience store, not too far away from where Green had that infamous run-in with a friendly, stray cat. The store’s surveillance camera showed that the only witness to this horrible murder was the bodega cat.

At the age of 29, Green left behind no relative except for his mother on passing away. The twenty-something’s death shocked the community of the Bronx.

People said how strange Green was. Other community members mentioned that it was a shame that he passed away at such a young age.

One resident in Green’s apartment said that the young man was mentally unstable and how he often talked to himself. No arrests were made regarding the death of Thomas Green. The police closed the case and filed it under gang violence.
