Christmas is a wondrous time of year. The sights and sounds are awe-inspiring for people around the world. Christmas is a time of peace and togetherness. Christmas is to me, one of the best times of the year.

A lot of people think of present when they think of Christmas. But not me, I think time for people laying down their arms for a moment. People of all walks of life coming together to celebrate the many different religion’s “holy time” of the year. The biggest known holy figure celebrated during this time of year was Jesus Christ. Christmas is literally celebrated on Jesus Christ’s birthday.

I am no Christian, I really respect that man Jesus the Christ. Jesus did like a whole bunch of globally impacting things. He healed the sick, he fed the hungry and housed the homeless. Every and any good deed you could possibly think of doing, Jesus did it. Jesus was the humanitarians humanitarian.

So during Christmas time we think about this awesome guy and all the good things he has done in his life. People of all faiths come together to celebrate the life and time of a man who gave everything for man. He saw the greatness in people and all that they are and can do.
