The song 1970’s song backstabbers by the Oj’s still is relevant in today’s society. A Motown classic warning people about fake friends out take what yours. In the world backstabbers aren’t extinct they have evolved.

Backstabbers use modern methods to take who they call a dear friend, life from under their feet. They enlist communities, gangs, and anybody else they can manipulate to take away their dear friend’s life away from them. They know how to pull strings and wait with a fake smile for a dastardly opportunity that they can capitalize on.

Patients is the only virtue these bastards have. They wait like vultures stalking an untimely unfortunate event to swoop in and take what they can for a person they call a friend. They prey to the Devil King that one day they be their friend, walk how their friend walks, and talk how their friend talks. They prey to the devil king to be their friend and for their friend to perish.

Fake friends are just like regular friends, you will have things in common, know the same people, and like the same things. It’s hard to tell a fake friend from a real friend. A fake friend can mimic what a real friend would do. Hell, they will even say they love you in such a convincing way that you’re forced to believe them.

But as soon as an ugly opportunity presents itself to them, they don’t remember what you did for them or how you suffered with them. They only see what you have and want to take it from you. That’s the thing about backstabbers, everything you might have endured with them means nothing to them, what you have, what you are, and being you means everything to them.

They want to be you, some might call it the green eyes of envy. They are so envious of you that it eats at them at night. “Why can’t I be cool like G-star” or “Why can’t I have the rizz that G-star has” or my favorite “WHY CAN’T I BE G_STAR.” When they say they love you what they really mean is ” I would love to be your G-star.”

They tend to be obsessive about you in a non-descript kind of way. When it happened to me when they were obsessed with me, they would turn to online and in-person sources to find out more about me. They will reach out to your family and other sources to find out as much as they can about you. If they going to try and be you then they have to know everything about you.

There are some things a backstabber will say and do that will give them up. They might blurt some disrespectful shit out their mouths more than once. Deep in their displays of love and endearment lies those green eyes of hate and jealousy. They can’t always keep their hate for you hidden.

Sometimes the fake friend will slip up and say or do some screwy shit that will make you question their true intention. As patient as a backstabber is they can’t hide their hatred for you forever. Eventually, their envy mixed with an awful situation will reveal their devilish nature.

When a turning point happens it’s going to be you verses the backstabber. You gonna be hit with the realization that the person that you called your friend, was never really your friend, it was all an act. They were only acting like you two were friends because they liked you as a person that they would to be, not as a friend they like to hang out with.

Backstabbers just hang out because your the person they want to be. You got the glow, you got the rizz, you got what they want and they will do anything to take it from you. A fake friend loves everything about you except the fact that they aren’t you. Beware of fakefriends/backstabbers they would you kill you to be you.
