Exercising is great, feeling the burn, getting moving. It’s such a stress relieving process. Getting up every morning at getting that blood pumping.

But there is a time when enough is enough and you need to give your body a break. When you reached your limit you gotta cool it for a minute. You may not want to, but you need it to give your muscles time to heal.
Exercising is a good way to stay healthy. The thing is the more you exercise and the more intense your exercise regimen is the ore you damage your body. The harder you go, the more you will hurt.

It really is a good idea to take some time off from working out. If you like me, when you exercise you enjoy breaking a sweat. I have been engaged in more and more vigorous exercise routines.
I am mainly doing calisthenics when I exercise. It low impact but if done vigorously can be very effective. The more effective the exercise the damage it can do to your muscles.

Let me explain, when your exercise you tend to tear muscles. That damage you make to your muscle is repaired by fat. Not only is it repaired it’s enhanced, but that repair process doesn’t happen instantly.
It takes time for your muscles to repair themselves. During this healing process you should cool it with the exercises for a while. I know what they say ” no pain, no gain” but you don’t need to unnecessarily hurt yourself either.

So, take it easy on your muscles and give yourself some down time. Find something else to do with the time you would be exercising. Read a book, practice some math problems, play a video game.
You down need to push yourself to the point of no-return. Take some time off and let your muscles heal up and enjoy some rest and relaxation. Take my advice and enjoy your new body that you work so hard to develop.
