In the 80’s every cartoon character had his or her favorite food. The teenage mutant ninja turtles loved pizza, Garfield and his lasagna, and sonic with his chili dogs. The maybe a little know fact but sonic favorite food is chili dogs.

What’s there not to love about a good old chili dog. A chili dog is a perfect food for someone like sonic, it’s fast and filling. Chile dogs after cook is quick to serve, just pull one of those dogs out the water put it on bun, cover it in chili sauce and enjoy.

Sitting back I wonder why don’t i enjoy more chili dogs. Like, i eat chili and i love hot dogs, why not put them together. I think thats a great idea, make a big pot of chili and cook some stove top dogs. I can seeing my self munching on them all damn day and night.

If i really don’t free like cooking i can always go to Sonic, not the hedgehog but the fast food spot. They are like the only major fast food spot that sells chili dogs. They chili dogs at sonic are bomb ass good.

In some games, and certain episodes of Sonic the hedgehog he can be seen eating chili dog after chili dog. I would only like that if I was trying to rush protein in my system. Like, expanded a lot of energy and need to heal as well as re-energize then a chili dog is the perfect food.

I can see why Sonic lives them so much, chili dog are the perfect after workout snack/meal. Chili dogs aren’t hard to digest, and they must metabolize throughout the body pretty fast. I wonder how a runner would do on a diet fully of chili dogs? Probably really well!

I watched the Sonic movie but do remember if he makes a thing about chili dogs. I remember him at a saloon but i don’t remember if order chili dogs or not. Maybe he show his love for the chili dogs in other movies. But, I know in the 90’s cartoons of Sonic he often expresses his love for chili dogs.

Well, Hope you enjoy reading my ramble about Sonic and his chili dogs. I really dig the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It’s a nice distraction from the everyday. How sonic spreads hope and inspires so many. Thanks Sonic for being a hero in a bleak, harsh, unforgiving world.
