Bad things happen to everybody. There are good times and bad. It’s how we handle handling ourselves that makes the difference. Don’t go off the deep end and drink yourself silly at the first hint of bad news. It’s not worth going off the deep end. First, try to remain calm, don’t overreact. Keeping a cool head and a warm heart will get you through almost anything life has to throw at you.
I am a firm believer in the power of prayer and the benefits of meditation. We all pray differently. Some people sit at an altar while others talk to their higher power. When we are faced with situations out of our control, it is important to turn to a power greater than ourselves for a sense of support and understanding. That mystic power will see be on our side and guide us through any adversity. Giving a sincere amount of gratitude for what we have and praying for protection from devilish functions that seek to take our bounty.
Meditation is an important practice for me. There are many ways to meditate, from walking to sitting and even laying down. The key to meditation is to journey inside your mind for a solution to your problems. The human mind is compared to a super computer. You have in your mind the alpha and omega to your problems. Focusing on what you want to achieve and formulating clear goals or the best possible outcome. Inside your mind is the answer to your problems. Playing some soft relaxing music or simply just embracing silence. You can come up with a plan to solve your even the biggest problems.
Seek council from friends and family. Your inner circle knows you best. They can handle task and have some resources you may not have. These trusted individuals can help steer you out of shit’s creek. But don’t tell everyone your problems. Some friends and family don’t need to be brought down by your issues. They simply can’t help you. Other people in your network may seem sympathetic but secretly praying for downfall. There are those so-called friends and family that may have caused the problems you’re experiencing. So you really don’t want to go them for advice.
There are a couple of sayings, ” let go and let God” or “this too will pass.” You can find hope on social media. Go online and look at silly memes that brighten your spirits. Don’t lose hope and travel down the path of doom and despair. There is hope in the face of uncertainty.
