We all want to save, but we all want to spend. It’s a battle between saving and spending. We want to have nice things, we also need to eat. We work, we get our check, and we save some, and we spend some. It is important to save. When you find yourself dipping into your saving is when it becomes a problem.

There are things we need to get. Like clothes, shoes, food, and household goods. Then are things we want to do. Go out, eat fast food, and enjoy life. All that stuff is good but the money for those sorts of things has to come from somewhere. So you dip into your budget first. Taking money from general expenses to spend on a good time. It is good to keep an open budget but when doing so you should check your and your spending. You don’t have to go out to eat every day. You really don’t need meat in every meal. Watch yourself and spending habits and cut down on certain pleasures.

Saving is important, but at what cost? You don’t need to be such a tightwad that your family hates you. No, you can just chill and set a small amount and forget it. saving isn’t too hard. Just out of sight out of mind. It’s when you check your account statement and see that your available balance is low and your savings are still high, and that is when it becomes an issue. Be gentle when it comes to your savings. Emergencies happen. So, with your savings in hand, be bold and confront doom. At the same time, if it’s not an emergency than don’t even think about touching your savings. Just forget they even exist.

It is all about balance. Saving and spending are all a part of life. I think where all put on this planet to contribute to the world. To add something and create value. You can’t do anything for anyone else unless yo take care of yourself. Balancing your budget is a big part of self-care.
