Okay, the holidays are done with now you step on the scale and oh my gosh, how many pounds did you gain? Like most people, you might have gained some holiday weight. Darn, right? I know I gained some ton-age, I have have a good plan to drop that holiday food baby. Summer is going to be here before you know it. You really don’t want that winter weight over the spring and summer. Here are some ideas to help encourage you to get fit for the summer.
I am a firm believer that walking is key to better health. I know it’s cold and snowy outside. Still like it’s a must if you want to have good health. I suggest still venturing forth and going out for a nice walk. Bundle up and get out there. going for a nice walk in cold is great believe it or not. A simple walk to your neighborhood convenience store can help you lose a ton. The cold, crisp air can be a welcoming change to the stuffy air inside where you stay. Don’t worry if there is a little snow on the ground. That just adds a little resistance to your journey. If there is absolutely no way you’re going to walk through your neighborhood in all that snow, then hit up your local indoor mall. You might have spent out during the holiday’s, now it’s time to get a full return on your investment in some of these stores. Just walk around and window shop. There is nothing wrong with just looking around at the store you shop at, and it’s good for your health. Just go for a nice walk around the mall and keep in mind you’re doing it for your health.

Eating healthy after the great feast that is the holiday season. It’s going to be spring before you know you know it, so why not have a spring salad before it actually springtime. A big part of weight loss is your diet. Eating health after gorging yourself during the holidays. It’s never too late or too soon to eat healthy. I have had a spectacular Thanksgiving feast, and Christmas was my excuse to indulge in a vast variety of baked goods. Now I don’t get out of bed, I roll out of bed. Since it’s cold outside and you may want something more than a salad, try having some soups. Soups are great this time of the year. You know a nice hot soup with a crisp salad is a nice lunch idea. Whatever you decide to eat, try and keep it healthy. During the warmer months, you’ll be glad you did.

Taking some time to exercise at home or maybe hit up a gym. Dieting can help you maintain a healthy weight, but exercising will get you that start to a nice springtime, bod. Exercising all starts with the mind. You really have to be mentally prepared to work out. Set a plan and execute your said workout plan. Get a clear idea of what exercises you want to do. Then start exercising, like get up and get moving. You can start off simple, it’s not a competition, I am saying you can get some friends involved. I never worked well with others, I prefer doing my excises solo. I personally like going to the gym. Putting in some time at the gym really gives me that burn I look for from a workout. Although I do exercise at home too. I enjoy engaging in some light cardio and throwing in some push-ups and toe touches. Whatever you want to do, just get your body moving. I am saying attractive, healthy people get a better kind of attention over the spring and summer months.

Well, here is my plan to lose that holiday weight. If you’re okay with your weight, that’s cool. I’m just saying i prefer to have a sort of fit body. I was on the heavier side before in my life. I really didn’t like how people were grossed out by me when i was overweight. I kinda like the attention I get when I am at a healthier weight. To each there own. I hope you had a great holiday season, I know i did. The best of health to you,my dear reader.
