If you see someone bopping their head with a smile on their face, don’t get mad get glad. Don’t be mad that someone else is in a good mood, congratulate them. It’s better that someone is cheerful rather than ready to start some shit. I consider myself to be a happy-go-lucky person. Sometimes people see me smiling and sometimes people make the remark “wipe that silly smirk off your face.” Why you mad because I’m happy? That is just how some people are, they be hating. I try not to let it kill my vibe.

Emotion’s start out a reaction to an event. When something good or bad happens we instantly have an initial emotion. When something is going well or you’re feeling good you might feel joy, happiness, or pleased. When things are going bad you might feel sad, mad, or angry. After the initial emotion it starts to become your mood that’s when it’s up to you if you want to stay mad or joyful. When you start feeding into the sad feelings by justifying your feelings. If you’re feeling happy, you might start thinking more and more happy thoughts to keep the party in your head going. When things are going bad you can keep feeding the chaos in mind. It’s all up to you. There is an old native american belief, is that there are two wolves inside every human being. A good wolf and a bad wolf and it’s up to the individual what wolf they choose to feed the most.

When you’re in a crummy mood and see someone gleefully walking down the street what do you do? You might want to kill their vibe because you feel shitty. They say misery loves company. Miserable people like making more miserable people. Because one person is having a great day and another is having a lousy day they might bump heads. One person’s sole intent is to ruin someone else day, the other might just minding their business in a good mood. Instantly a vibe is under attack and damn near killed because one person’s happiness made someone else angry. This happens all the time. Someone wants to kill someone else’s vibe.

You gotta protect your happiness because people are out to kill it. You can’t be happy by making others happy. Some people want to drain the life force from your soul. Your happiness is a source of sustenance for them to feed off of. It would be in your best interest to have an assertive attitude when it comes to your happiness. Say what you want and how you feel. Try not to worry about offending someone who might be out to assassinate your happiness. They’re going to mad, it’s the choice they made to be that way. If you decide to make the choice to be in a good mood, then own it.

Remember “Don’t worry, be happy.” Enjoy the good feelings your feeling and surround yourself good vibes. Don’t be miserable to make someone else happy. Stay on the good foot and enjoy the ride. Your happiness is worth defending. Keep it, cherish it and nurture it.
