“When I give her money she wants time, when I give her time she wants money.” This is a line from some rap song I heard some years ago. Making money takes time, if you want to have a good time it takes money. Those two are always fighting. You have to spend money that’s a fact of life. We only have but so much time in a day. How we spend our time determines how much money we have. If we spend all our time with our loved ones we won’t have time to make money. Spending all of our time making money can leave us feeling lonely and sad. When we have both time and money it can like the sun will never set. There is a way to find a balance, trust me.

Money is awesome, when you have it life can feel awesome. Money doesn’t just come out of thin air. You can just plant a money tree and magically all of your financial troubles will disappear. You have to work for yours. Spending time somewhere you don’t want to be around people you despise so you can have some cash in your pocket. That is just the way it is. I have to do it so do you, unfortunately. Well not everybody but most have to work at something to get paid. Spending time to make money is a way of modern life. I understand that most people would love just to lay in bed and lounge around with enough money to do whatever they desire. That sort of fairy tale life is only afforded to a select few and even they have some sort of way to generate income. Around the world, people are getting up and at them for some cash. We just have to accept that fact.

Having free time is great. Having a life leisure must be great. Not having to do anything all day and having more than enough money to enjoy a relaxed style of life is a dream for many people. Living in comfort day in and day out can’t be done without some sort of way to generate money. You’re going to have to finance a life of leisure somehow. You can’t expect to be comfortable for free, it’s going to cost. Some people try their best to live the lush life where they don’t have to work and still enjoy the comforts of our day and age. So what do they do? They live off of someone else. Most adults who live a life of supreme comfort have mommy and daddy working for them. They are kinda like parasites living solely off other people. I guess that is one way to live a life of leisure without working for it. But most of us have to find a way to support our lifestyle. We spend time hustling so that we can live the life. The time spent making money takes us away from our family and friends. Honestly speaking, if you spend your whole life spending time with the ones you love, you and them will start to resent one another. Someone will have to flip the bill and if you all time no money then you can’t pay your way. You have to find a balance between love and cash.

Scheduling is a big part of having a balance between your time and money. Making a schedule and have a clear idea of what you want to spend your time and money on and with who. Taking personal time to plan your days and creating a budget to go along with that plan can help you achieve control over your time and money. Have a realistic budget for your time, don’t just go out and spend your money like there is no tomorrow. Prioritizing who you spend your time with, some parasites may need to be avoided while love one should come first. It’s a good idea to sort of pick and choose who you decide to spend your time and money on. Not everyone should get the same treatment. You really have to look at the people in your life on a case by case basis.

I love spending time with my friends and family. I also know that even freedom isn’t free and that I have to bring something to the table. I can’t just make a plan to live off my family and their hard work. I have to contribute to their success and happiness. The time I spend with them and my friends is in hopes of making a better life for them. I cheer them on and all the hard work they engage in while working on my own financial endeavors. Don’t be a burden, bring time and money to the table. PEACE.
