It’s hot outside, so it’s time for some cool dishes. Those delicious warm hearty meals of the winter don’t work during the summer months. Roast aren’t so yummy when it’s ninety degrees outside. Making a heavy pasta dish will have your kitchen feeling like an oven. What do you do? You opt for some cold summer meal to keep you and your kitchen in the battle for the cool.

Sandwiches are awesome in the summer. Cold cuts are just what they say they are, cold cuts of deli meat. You don’t have to cook em, just put the deli meat of your choice between two pieces of bread, add some cheese maybe some condiments, and boom, bang, zhou, you got yourself a yummy sandwich.

Salads are the ultimate health food. Like I really don’t think you can get a healthier meal than a cold crisp salad. There are so many different ways to make a salad that your gonna have to check online for some ideas. Most salads are just lattice, tomato, and a bunch of optional ingredients. You can throw whatever you want in a salad and it’s still healthy.

Move over latte’s it’s smoothie time. The summertime it’s acceptable to drink a cool fruity meal. Smoothies are a bunch of different fruits blended together to make a cold liquid meal for the summer. Strawberries, banana’s, blueberries and carrots are just some of the fruit and vegetables that you find in your fruit smooth. I am no health nut but I keep blender just in case I want to drink my lunch.

Well those are just some of my summer month meal go to’s. I hate the summertime but it can be kinda cool. Yummy cold beverages and foods are out there not only to nourish your body, they keep you cool in the hottest of weather. Enjoy the summer, fall will be here before you know it.
