A lot of people say chivalry is dead but I don’t think so. I would say it’s off duty.

There are thousands of dudes waiting for a reason to be chivalrous. Good-hearted guys are out there ready to show people just what it is to be a gentleman.

You just have to be ready to accept our acts of kindness.

In the past there was a rise in ideology emphasizing the strong independent woman. The lady that didn’t need or want that chivalrous man to open a door for them.

That’s perfectly fine, all us gentleman did was fall back. We let women do for themselves.

With women being more independent the chivalrous man could take a break from daunting over the ladies. If being chivalrous was a job you can say we went off duty.

There was less reason to pull a chair out or cover a puddle with our overcoat. Women felt like they could do it themselves, so we let them.

Gentleman will always exist in the world. We may not be so quick to save the damsel in distress. But we won’t hurt them either; we know we shouldn’t interfere in other people’s lives.

It may hurt our heart to witness suffering; especially a women’s pain.

Us gentleman are good people that want to help. We might be off-duty when it comes to chivalry but we didn’t quit nor have we been fired. We are on call and ready to make people lives a little easier.

Doing good deeds is done in the name of honor and valor as a man. Changing lives and helping people is truly what being a virtuous individual is all about.

We gentleman still exist and may not be easily identifiable but we are still out there. Living our lives, not doing much.

When there is a time that we can be of service; we’re there. Ready to help, why?

Because that’s what good men do, they do good things. For our friends, family, our communities, and the world.

Chivalry isn’t dead, it there when you need it the most.

Good men do good things. Have a good day 💯
