Yay, it’s finally spring! Time to eat some yummy light uplifting meals. It’s great time to keep it light and refreshing. Eating is an important part of life and with warmer weather eating cool meals is in order. Have any idea on what to have on your plate? Well, I do! How about a salad or maybe some cereal. It’s time to chill with some fast food and get out and enjoy the spring. Here are some nice food choices that I personally enjoy.

Cereal and granola is a great choice for a nice anytime meal. Some people only eat cereal for breakfast but it really is good anytime of the day. Cereal and granola is a quick healthy food that is as simple as pouring yourself a bowl and adding some milk (optional). No cooking involved, with the weather being so nice who wants to turn on the stove? Just wake up and reach for the good stuff, eat, and go enjoy a nice spring day. There are plenty of tasty brands of grain and oats to choose from. You just have to run to your nearest grocery store and they should have an aisle dedicated just for the crunchy stuff. You can have fun with it by adding fruits and a little extra sugar. Cereal and or granola is a great idea to start or end your day this spring.

Salads, what can say about the awesomeness that is that Gucci green stuff. Oh, how I enjoy a nice salad. Some leafy greens and add some yummy vegetables toss it around for a bit add some dressing (optional) and chow down. Unlike the heavy, hearty foods of the winter salads are light and fun to consume. You can sit back and chow down and not feel guilty like your gonna gain twenty extra pounds. Most salads are fat free, really most of the fat is in the dressing but hey it’s all good. Some nice yummy salad will keep you feeling light and full of energy. If you want you can add some chicken for protein. Having a little meat with your greens adds a little flavor to your dish. Trust me, a grilled chicken salad with ranch dressing is one of the best thing about spring. There is also the treat salad called a fruit salad. With fruit salad there are no greens just nature’s candy, fruit. Cut some fresh fruit and add some honey (optional) and shit you got a sweet, juicy salad that will have feeling like your on spring break.

Fast food is always and good way to eat on the go or at home. Their are plenty of fast food chains to choose from. On an outing on nice spring day stop by a McDonald’s for a a luscious burger or Mcchicken sandwich. McDonald’s has plenty of different meal options to choose from all at a great price. McDonald’s are everywhere so you have to worry about being hungry while you’re on the go this spring. Wanna stay in but like McDonald’s just as much as I do, they deliver. There are plenty of other fast food restaurants to choose from but as far as springtime fast food joints go, I recommend McDonald’s. It’s been there for me during some tough times. If you don’t have much or have a lot McDonald’s will be there for you too. For the kids there is always happy meals, so you don’t have to worry about dinner. Just give the youth a happy meal, hey it even comes with a free toy. I’m love’in it!

Well, those are my food choices for the spring. Keeping light and fun this springtime. There is too much going on in springtime to be bogged down with a heavy winter meal. Now it is time to keep it light and healthy. With the warmer weather eating has never been so cool. Yummy spring meals are out there you just have to eat them.
