Mercury Retrograde Explained.

Things ever get weird around some uncertain times of the year? Well, mercury might be in retrograde. Retrograde isn’t just some sort of old-school video game consoles. Retrograde is an astrological term that mean the plant is appearing to spin in reverse. It’s weird I know, but it happens when the planet zooms past so fast it appears to be moving backwards. Freaky right? When Mercury goes into retrograde certain things starts to happen.

When Mercury goes into retrograde it severely affects communication. People have a problem getting their message across to other people. They seem to lose the clarity in their words. People have a big problem closing deals, making agreements, and just plain talking with one another. Mercury is considered to be the planet of communication and when it goes into retrograde it’s like it’s taking a nap for about three and half weeks. So talking things out well seems more difficult than ever during this time.

Technology is especially vulnerable during this time. So watch out for your cell phone, laptop, and television during a mercury retrograde. It’s just like a bad time to convent your electronics. You really should consider not making any big purchases during a Mercury retrograde. So hold off on that shopping spree when Mercury is in retrograde. I can speak from experience that shopping during a Mercury retrograde is a bad idea. My headphones broke right at the start of a Mercury retrograde and I really love my music. So, I went out to buy a new pair of headphones from a local convenience after I bought them I tried them out, but they didn’t work. I decided to go to this low-key electronic store that usually has good deals. I get home with my new pair of earbuds. They work, but they were crap and weren’t worth using. So, I decide to wait till after the retrograde and behold get a decent pair of headphones. Just an example that during a Mercury retrograde chill on a lot of things.

The pop punk queen Avril Lavigne had a great song called “Mercury in Retrograde.” Where she explains just what happens when Mercury is in retrograde. It’s a good song and your probably should give it a listen. Some people who know see Mercury being in retrograde as being a great teacher.
