I Can’t Wait For Spring Break

I am so looking forward to spring break. Like I am not in high school or college, but gosh darn it, I have a kid and can’t wait for a break from sending her to baby prison. School sucks, sorry (not sorry), homework, test, and stories of little shits being assholes. Who wouldn’t want a break from all of that? It’s like a job for kids. Spring break is the last major break before summer vacation. But, how do spend it? While I wouldn’t advise staying home and staying in bed. It’s spring and a break from school. You should go out and enjoy no school and warmer temps. Here’s what I suggest.

Shop, shop and shop some more. Go out and treat yourself. Buy some dope new threads for the approaching warmer weather. Going to your local mall and just window shop. All of your friends are going to be there. At least that is how it was when I was a kid. We would go to the local mall for a good time. Just hang out and look around at the stores. Do some people watching in their natural environment. Have some laughs and shoot the breeze. Everybody who’s anybody is going to the mall this spring break. Enjoying a nice day at the mall at any age is the way to start the trend of warmer weather. Going to the arcade is a must to keep the kids happy. Play a few games be seen and feel like a cool rad parent. When the break is over you are going to have to fight for time to go shopping. But when it is break time make the most of it and get the things that are going to make springtime pleasant. Your kid can socialize and see friends from school or at least have a story to tell. “What did you do over the break Jimmy?”, ” I went to the mall”, “Cool”

If you’re like me you like to travel. Well, spring break is the biggest travel season next to Christmas. More than half of Americans plan to travel over spring break. It’s the perfect time to get out of your neighborhood and go take a look around. Going someplace other than your hood is a great idea. Your kid will have a even better story than going to the mall. Heading out of your neighborhood, city, state, or country could be the family time you and yours need to strengthen your bonds as a family. The internet is great for looking up places to hit up. Do a little research and think about where you want your family to have a look around. Make a budget and book a hotel and off you go to a foreign land.

Cultural emerging can be pretty damn fun. If you are planning on traveling why go somewhere people are different than what you’re used to? People from around the world live around the world. Most ethnic communities have their own ways of doing things. During the break, you can explore the way and customs from around the world. Going to places with their own culture is an eye opener to how the rest of the world is. Going to foreign places can open your awareness to the fact that the world is more than what you are. Being around different people will raise your sense of compassion and refresh your view on your place in society. You see, hear and eat your way into the heart of locals and this might be the best story that little Jimmy can tell.

Well, spring break is going to be here soon. You better start preparing what your gonna do. You could always sit on your couch and play games, all day and all night. Me I am like whoop whoop gonna do it big. Maybe, well not that big. Really I am just going to spend spring break writing and shopping. Maybe take a trip but if I do I am going to keep it simple.
